My name is Quentin RICARD, I was born the 13th of November 1989 and I am actually in my first year of 3D animation curriculum at Isart Digital in Paris
I began to do 3D by myself 3 years ago, I learnt with a lot of pleasure every necessary steps to make 3D artworks : modelling, texturing, lightning on 3ds max, and post-production. In September 2007, I joined a preparation class at ISART Digital and completed it succesfully. I was accepted to enter in the first year of the 3D Animation curriculum where I have begun to learn Maya.
I made my choice a few months ago, I have a passion for 3D, all the steps of the creation, but, a revelation ? A trigger ? I could not say from when precisely but from now I want to be an animator : the animation thrill me either traditionnal, in stop-motion or 3D. What a wonderful feeling to bring life to characters who do not really exist. What a wonderful feeling to try to make believable to the audience that these unreal polygons made puppets, that these drawn or sculpted clay shapes are truly real and to try to convince itself that it could meet them at the corner of the street. There is nothing better !
